As a Writer-
Anthony writes for Greenwich theatre and has scripted the annual pantomime at Greenwich for four years. These include – ‘Robin Hood’, ‘Snow White’, ‘Dick Whittington and his Cat’ (For which he won Best Script at the UK Pantomime awards 2025) and the upcoming ‘Peter Pan’ 2025/26.
He also writes for award winning theatre company Les Enfants Terribles. Shows include –
‘Alice’s Adventures Underground’ – nominated for an Olivier Award for best family entertainment. The show has completed two runs in London and in Beijing China.
‘Dinner at the Twits’ – an adaptation of the Roald Dahl Classic. This delightfully disgusting dining experience was the first time one of Roald Dahl’s titles was specifically created for adults.
‘The Games Afoot’ – a Sherlock Holmes whodunnit performed in the Victorian streets at Madame Tussaud’s London.
‘United Queendom’ for the Historic Royal Palaces. The true story of two powerful women overlooked by history; Queen Caroline and Henrietta Howard. Performed within Kensington Palace; once their home.
‘The European Capital of Culture 2022 opening ceremony’ – Esch, Luxembourg, 32,000 guests in the city of Esch took part in the launching of a virtual space rocket to kick off the European Capital of Culture – the event won a gold medal for hybrid events at the Golden Award of Montreux.
Festival and touring shows include – ‘Anyone for Tea’, ‘The Marvelous Imaginary Menagerie’, ‘The fantastical Flying Exploratory Laboratory’, and ‘The Time Portal’.
Anthony has also written and starred in numerous short films including – ‘Lenny Beige: Legend to Legend with Liam Gallagher’, ‘Gregory Humphreys Presents a Complete History of Britain’ and ‘A Woodcutters Tale’ and ‘Pleased to Eat You’ (Winner of Best Film at the London Short Series Festival)
Anthony’s continuing long term project is ‘Legends of the Wold’ – a series of epic fantasy tales in verse.
As an Actor –
Anthony graduated from The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art with honours.
He performs in and writes the Greenwich Theatre Pantomime. He has performed as Villain in twelve pantos there since 2011! (Oh yes he has!)
He has enjoyed several seasons in the West End with Horrible Histories – Barmy Britain Parts One, Two, Three and Four! (Garrick Theatre and Apollo Theatre). Which he also toured internationally to Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong.
Other theatre credits include – schizophrenic ventriloquist Albert Frog in ‘The Vaudevillains’ (Charing Cross Theatre), Salvador Dali in ‘Hysteria’ (The English Theatre of Frankfurt), Samedi in ‘The Infant’, Ernest in ‘Ernest and the Pale Moon’ (Les Enfants Terribles National Tours) and Miss Slighcarp in ‘The Wolves of Willoughby Chase’ (Greenwich Theatre).
He played The Tin Man in BBC1’s Over the Rainbow and was a Dalek in three series’ of Doctor Who!
He has recently appeared in Ian Hislops Oldest Jokes for BBC Radio 4.
